Speaking of supplements, what are the best vitamins for women? Those that would help give us the nutrients that we need daily when we don’t get them with our food intake. Good thing that the different health companies have some products that are spefically targetted for women’s health. Multi-vitamins that are formulated for what women need it is really welcome compared to multi-vitamins before that were generic to both male and female.
With really long days the past months, I am really starting to feel my age or maybe even older. And I think it is also starting (or maybe pretty evident?) to really show physically. I think I need to start taking health supplements religiously (some even suggest hgh supplements to look younger/defy ageing) and do some exercise regimen but I am too lazy haha! Well, have to start sometime right?!
We’re currently in Adelaide, tagging along with I. Met up with a friend and she took us to the central markets and to Glenelg beach. E really enjoyed the afternoon at the beach and asked me again today if we can go back again. And maybe we will as it’s only a 20 minute tram ride from the city. Going around the local mall today, I can see that there are still a lots of sales going with various discounts. Saw some women hoarding makeup supplies (with probably that brand’s best eye cream for wrinkles) and some shoes (which were at half off). Lots of deals too with mobile phones at the different mobile retailers. Will have to check out the kids/baby shops to see if they have good deals, and maybe pick up some stuff for E & S.
There’s been a lot of stories on the news lately about home invasion or people getting attacked in their own homes. It really is a scary thought that something might happen to you in your own home where it is supposed to be the one place that you’re safe. For those that own homes or even those that are renting like us, it would be wise to re-check their home security. Maybe change deadbolt locks, a more stronger screen doors or even look into installing security systems. Let’s take all the precautions possible to be safe.
It’s the World Cup and no doubt most of the world is tuned in for the next 30 days to the games in South Africa. Of course there’s also no escaping the different adverts and promotions.
We’re now in the Top 10 on Masterchef Australia. We’ve been fans of the show since the first season and we’re still enjoying watching this second season. We think Marion is a front runner to win the title, so far she’s the only one who beat a celebrity chef to win the immunity pin. Adam has also won an immunity pin but that was over Aaron in a cook off cooking for celebrity chefs. Jonathan could also take the title, I think he’s been in most of eliminations hence his being nicknamed “the eliminator” and survived. Anyone up against him in taste challenges has been booted out. I thought Alvin was a front runner at first but then he kinda lost his way, I hope he does get back and serve amazing dishes. With the popularity of the show, there has been a lot of product tie-ins and you can also see a lot of pop displays in stores. They have even come out with their own magazine.
Just a few more months and we have to renew our auto insurance. Sometimes it seems like we have just paid and the next year’s premium is due again. On top of that Ichi’s Philippine license is also about to expire so he has to find a way to either have it renewed here (is that even possible?) or have it converted to a NSW license. He’ll have to take a practical driving test since on top of a computerised test to have his PH license converted to an AU one. Hopefully he does it soon so we won’t have to do it last minute.
Yesterday, our new President was proclaimed – Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” Cojuangco Aquino III. Although I wasn’t able to vote for him in the recent elections, our votes would have gone to him. I’m a little afraid for him though, with the HUGE expectation the people have of him to fix everything at once. So far he seems to be taking the right steps, we still have to see who he’ll put in his cabinet and what he’ll do with Vice-President Binay but I hope he does prove his mettle and bring about change for the next 6 years.
