package received

Last month, E received a present from his godfather that was ordered online from an online store based here in Sydney. He was going to order it from amazon or an online store that was US based but a friend recommended to him the online store here so that the order fulfillment would be easier. Not to mention cheaper delivery fees. There was a bit of delay with the delivery, normally when you don’t receive packages in person, Australia Post will leave a notice for you to pick up the package at your local and nearest post office. Now, we have had to pick up packages in the past but this is the first time that we didn’t get any notice. After checking with nongnong Ton, he forwarded the email of the company to me instructing us to check with the local post office as they’ve had similar delivery problems in the past. And yes, the package was at the post office with a second and final notice tag which if I hadn’t gone to the post office to check would have resulted in the package getting sent back to the seller. Good thing that we were informed to inspect the package otherwise new arrangements would have to be done for E to receive his gift. When I told E that I already picked up his gift from the post office he couldn’t wait to get home and open his present.
