It’s spring! Time to bust out the thongs and the flats haha. I was browsing the ecco shoes website earlier and I’m liking some of the styles. I wonder if those are still available? It would be nice to get them as the weather gets warmer. Hmm, maybe time to do some online shopping? Let’s see if we could squeeze in some retail therapy this weekend if not then online shopping it is!
A few months ago we found out that Ichi’s PH driver’s license was about to expire and though there was an option to renew it from here (as we later found out) we opted to just do the conversion to an AU license. After a few refresher lessons from a local driving instructor, attempt #1 failed. He got a high score but then he apparently didn’t give way to oncoming traffic so there, automatic fail.
Our planned Canberra trip is cancelled too bad since my mum was soo looking forward to it especially to visit the outlets there. Well not that they would have the international brands like Fendi but still any outlet shopping would be ok with my mum haha! I wonder when Oz would have outlet shopping with good international brands? For now, we just have to satisfied that at least Gap and Zara are finally here.
Just a few days left and it will be the start of the ‘ber months. In Manila, this is usually the start of all preps towards the Christmas season. When I was younger I would usually hear Christmas songs played on the radio on September 1. Hmm, maybe its time to put in my orders on cards direct for the Christmas postcards. Maybe just maybe this year, I won’t have to do the rush just to be able to have them printed and sent out. We’ll see .. hehe.
It’s almost that time of the year again when we have to renew our car insurance. I guess it’s time to go take a look at the auto insurance reviews that one of the local financial magazine here have. It’s a good guide in comparing the different companies before making the final decision. They do the comparisons on a broad range of products from bank accounts to broadband plans to mobile plans and so on.
With more and more digital cameras (both point and shoot and DSLRs) getting more affordable, it’s no wonder that more people are into photography these days. With a few of our friends being serious hobbyists. It’s amazing to look at some of the photos that they’ve taken. While we do have our own entry-level DSLR we still have a long way to go in learning how to really take advantage of using the camera at manual mode. One thing I noticed though that most of our friends use a canon camera which makes it hard to borrow lenses or even buy their old ones when they upgrade since we use a different brand.
We all know that with the state of economy these days, we need every possible help to save money. That’s why it really is good that there are companies whether it be a physical store or online that offers products at discounted prices. Vitacost.com is one such company that offers low prices on vitamins, supplements and over-the-counter health and beauty products. So go look for your vitacost coupons now to get that good deal on your vitamin or supplements buy.
After spending two weeks in Adelaide with hubby, we came back to Sydney and prepared for E to start term 3. And what do you know, the night before the first day, E started to have tummy ache and for the next 3 days we battled a mild bout of stomach flu. The day he went back to school was the day our baby girl started having diarrhea, GREAT!! right?! And yep, you probably guessed it it was hubby’s turn during the weekend. Not really a pleasant time in our home the past two weeks. I really hope before the week ends everything will be back to normal, I’m really at wits end right now.
Anyways, I have to remind hubby to pick up some custom travel mugs at the store for a friend, he wanted to get one during his visit but missed the chance.
Speaking of supplements, what are the best vitamins for women? Those that would help give us the nutrients that we need daily when we don’t get them with our food intake. Good thing that the different health companies have some products that are spefically targetted for women’s health. Multi-vitamins that are formulated for what women need it is really welcome compared to multi-vitamins before that were generic to both male and female.
With really long days the past months, I am really starting to feel my age or maybe even older. And I think it is also starting (or maybe pretty evident?) to really show physically. I think I need to start taking health supplements religiously (some even suggest hgh supplements to look younger/defy ageing) and do some exercise regimen but I am too lazy haha! Well, have to start sometime right?!
