Prior to that I did bid on a couple of items but being a “cheapskate” I didn’t win. Last week though I decided to look for some game cartridges for E’s leapster. They don’t sell it here anymore since they have the new version of the leapster along with the newer version games. I finally won on a bid and just because it’s not a hot item haha! It is at a good price and I think a best buy compared to ordering one from the US. I think I’ll be buying a couple more games for E.

But when Ichi went to the mall purposely to get me a gift, I started to wonder what he’ll come up with. I was thinking that maybe he’ll buy me some blouses or perfume or if he’ll splurge maybe a wii since he knows that I want that esp with the games that whole family can enjoy. So what did I end up getting for my birthday? a Nintendo DS Lite, the special mario edition and E has been the one putting it to good use haha!

And with little boy getting interested in some of the games we’ve been really tempted to get one. I think for now it’s a matter of being able to choose the right bundle at the right price. I think there’s one now that seems like a good deal and with the included games just right for little boy. Hmm, seems I need to take a quick look at the budget now haha!

Just go to the monopoly website and vote your favorite 10 cities from a pre-selected list and then vote Manila or any other city not in the list for the wildcard cities. Who knows we may just end up seeing Manila as one of the cities in the world’s first global Monopoly.

Voting for the top 10 cities ends on February 29, 2008 and March 9, 2008 for the wildcard cities.
