tv drama: in time with you

One of my favorite actress is Ariel Lin. And I really enjoy all the characters that she has portrayed so far. It is nice to see her “grow” through her series/films over the years. A few weeks back, I was on a marathon streak for her latest tv series “In Time With You (我可能不會愛你)”.

Here’s a little synopsis from Drama Wiki:

On her 30th birthday, Cheng You Qing received an email on “the symptoms of premature aging” from Li Da Ren, her best friend of 14 years. Unable to accept that Li Da Ren is like a fine wine that will get better with age and she is like a grape that will dry into a raisin as years go by, she made a bet with Li to see who will get married first before they turn 35. As she looked around for a potential husband, she discovered that she was surrounded by unacceptable candidates, like gay assistant or cheating ex-boyfriend. The only man who could love her despite her stubbornness is her best friend. The only problem was that they both swore that they were not or will ever be romantically attracted to each other.

It’s finals week of So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD) and this season has really been good. There were a few numbers that really took your breath away but in general almost all of the routines delivered. One of the things that I loved this season is Melanie and Marko’s pairing, they were just amazing as partners and what chemistry! I’m definitely excited to watch them dance together again in the finals. Loving it also that Marko and Tadd made it to the finals, Pinoy pride!

It must be the weather but I’m finding that we’re eating more sweets and junk food lately. Add to that not being very active as all you really want to do is climb into bed and snuggle under that warm comforter. Pretty soon someone has to give us some weight loss pills to lose all the kilos that we’re gaining. It’s not soo bad if it was sunny but Sydney has been all rainy the past weeks. Mother nature has given us a quick break this week with sun. The forecast for next week is rainy again.

It really is amazing how we are all connected these days. Even if we live far apart from our family and friends, we have all these technology on our hands that can make keeping in touch easier. Well of course it still depends on the person but still a lot easier than before when you had to do snail mail or the expensive overseas calls. It is also very easy to research on something nowadays just log on to your favorite search engine or browse a web directory on what you’re looking for. Not to mention the various social networks out there that make instant connection.
