One of the things that we had to take care of recently was renewing our car registration. Since the CTP was due and it was with the same company that handles our car insurance coverage everything was easily done over the phone. One of the things that I really appreciate is that they made it easy for you to renew the rego, everything was done either online or via phone. After paying for the CTP online the insurance company sends the slip electronically to the RTA within an hour and then you can logon the RTA website and pay to renew your rego. The Certificate and the sticker that your supposed to put in your car was already sent weeks ahead also as a reminder that you need to renew the rego. And we got an unexpected bonus we were given back a small amount when we updated our address with the insurance company, apparently we moved to a “safer” neighborhood so our premium was lowered.
