I was browsing my multiply contacts earlier and saw that Ichi’s cousin A along with his mom, sister and brother recently made a trip to Hong Kong. A who’s working in Singapore met his family in Hong Kong for that much anticipated trip. From the pictures I can tell that the trip was a lot of fun especially with all the eating & shopping that they did. Apart from the boutiques and stores like H&M that they went to they also did the night markets where among the items that they will surely see are replica watches. A & his mom skipped going to Disneyland though, they left that to his siblings.

One of the things that made our short stay in Manila a few months ago worth it was seeing our niece M for the first time. She’s such a cutie-pie and we joke with my BIL that she’s a giant which is the only thing (her size) that she got from him, haha! When we were visiting their home, my BIL told me that they were renovating their en-suite bathroom and thinking of ordering the items from the US. Although they were mainly looking at getting showerheads, they also looked at faucets like danze faucets.

A friend was recently talking about going on a diet since the pounds are piling on. She was researching online trying to find what best diet to go on. Personally I have only tried on one diet (and failed at that), the cabbage soup diet which you’re supposed to go on for 7 days. I didn’t have the will power haha! Anyways, my friend told me hat she came across lots of articles mentioning the eca stack, a drug combination that is used as a stimulant for weight loss. ECA is an acronym for ephedrine, caffeine and aspirin. So she’s looking into the pros and cons of taking it.

Happy anniversary!! No celebrations though as Ichi is away on a business trip for the whole week   He promised to make it up this weekend though, we’ll see haha!

I was browsing through the weekly area magazine and I’ve noticed that for the past couple of weeks the ads for gym memberships or slimming salons have increased. It might be due to the fact that summer is around the corner. One fitness club even had a prize money to be won if you join their club with their weight loss program. I remember a few years back when my brothers would regularly go to the gym so that they could have great physiques and they even drank supplements so that they could build muscle fast. Nowadays, they would just regularly play basketball to stay in shape.

Last week I did a scrap layout which I posted in my scrap blog, I liked the layout that I decided to just rework it for one of the pages of the 2009 calendars that I’m planning to give our families this Christmas. Wish me luck that I finish it on time! Here’s the layout for the calendar. Any suggestions where best to have it printed – cd calendar size?
